Back seat driving
We were walking along a lane on Isle de Re in France when a number of these bikes buzzed past us. I love the green fuel tank hanging on the side of the front wheel. Hight tech is not what this couple is about, sheer fun of the moment.
Shoot while you are on the move
April 2010 - We were travelling on a train in Sweden and I decided to try something different for a shot. I put the camera onto shutter speed priority at 1/10th of a second. I then focused on the passing scene and locked the camera onto the trees as the train moved past. An interesting effect with a bit much wash out at the top but an art teacher liked it so I am happy.
Race across the bay
The good thing about this photo is I didn't take it and the bad news is I am in the photo so you can't get rid of me yet. Sailing a Hobie 16 across False Bay near Cape Town South Africa in a 20 knot south easter must be one of the most exhilirating experiences possible in small boat sailing. I was lucky enough to do many of these sails and I remember most of them. If this grabs you, do it.
